ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Attributed in error to the Lesser Antilles. The type specimen from a cultivated specimen supposedly raised from a cutting from St. Vincent has since been identified as a common garden hybrid of Disocactus flagelliformis (L.) Barthlott.

See Hunt D (2006) New Cactus Lexicon, DH Books, Milborne Port. This states the specimen is a garden hybrid of Disocactus flagelliformis (L.) Barthlott and attributes this to an embarrassing case of mixed labels.
